Such a versatile product. It can be used to clean tough stains in the kitchen, great in homemade toothpaste or deodorant. Can also be used a dry shampoo.
How to use:
Cleaning Brass- make a paste with bi-carb and lemon juice. Apply to surface, let sit for a minute, then rinse off.
To deodorize- place bi-carb in an open dish and place in the bottom of bins or fridges. Refresh regularly. To deodorize your carpets or mattress, sprinkle bi-carb on the desired area, leaving for an hour, before vacuuming up. You can also mix in some essential oils before sprinkling or into the dish under the bin liner.
Laundry- I like to add about half a cup of bi-carb to my washing to aid in removing odors and softening clothes.
The uses for bi-carb are honestly endless, used with vinegar for sinks is also great, be sure to leave for a few minutes and wash down with boiling water.
